NOW HIRING!!

The Sundance Drive-In is currently looking for staff. Available positions are cashiers, kitchen help, ticket booths and lot staff. Cashiers must have basic math skills and friendly demeanor. Must be self motivated and able to function in a fast pace environment. No experience necessary as the drive-in is usually a first job for many.
Must be 16yrs or older.

In person applications today and tomorrow from 1pm to 3pm and next Saturday and Sunday also 1-3pn.

We know people were interested in viewing the Eclipse from the Sundance. We’re not holding an event like the prior management but we would like to welcome anyone that would like to come down and view it at the drive-in.. Given the short time that we’ve had possession of the theater we are still in the process of getting everything ready so amenities will not be available. Bring your own snacks and beverages and be courteous to clean up when you’re done. We also would like to let everyone know that we will be opening early May.

We also would like to let everyone know that there is no charge to come up and view the Eclipse.

Dear Drive-In Movie Fans,

We are excited to announce the re-opening of the Sundance Drive-In! Yes, the “Kid” is back! Get ready to enjoy movies under the stars once again as we celebrate its 75th anniversary and continue the family tradition.

The theater, located at 4500 Navarre Ave. in Oregon, Ohio, was operated last year as the Parkside Drive-In by another management group. Recently, Todd Williams, owner of the Memory Lane Drive-In in Monroe, Michigan acquired the Sundance. Todd is a successful business owner with drive-in experience and enthusiasm. He is committed to continuing the Sundance tradition of providing a fun, family oriented outdoor movie going experience. Todd plans to make many improvements and updates at the Sundance including bringing back some familiar faces. Keven and Sue Christy, former longtime operators of the drive-in, will be back helping manage the business with Todd.

“We are very excited to see the Sundance make a comeback and are eager to help our friend Todd take the drive-in into the future. And, a real bonus will be re-connecting with our past customers”, said Keven Christy.

A tentative opening date for the Sundance is scheduled for May 1st. Stay tuned for further announcements and updates.

Sundance Kid Drive-In fans! Wow! What a great turnout for refills of the Sundance buckets, Junior Hopper poppers and giant Hopper poppers! Over two dozen refills for the weekend! It was great seeing so many loyal customers from the Sundance!

Popcorn refills will continue throughout the season at Memory Lane Drive-In!
Thanks everyone who enjoyed and complemented the great food and the fast and friendly service. Many customers said they were impressed by the extensive & reasonably priced concession menu offered by Memory Lane.

Dear Sundance Kid Drive-In Movie Fans,

Many of you may have seen or heard that the Sundance is "for sale". We wanted everyone to know that the PROPERTY is for sale and NOT the theater business! The Sundance (formally known as the Parkside Drive-In) has been in operation for over 60 years. The property has been owned by the same family for most of this time. The family wishes to sell the property. The theater has been operated and managed by Great Eastern Theatre Company for almost 30 years.

Yes, it is true the "property" is for sale, but the business is not. Great Eastern Theatre Company will continue to operate and keep the Sundance open through 2021 and hopefully beyond. Never fear drive-in fans, we are here to stay as long as possible bringing you movies, memories and more under the stars!
