Drum and Song workshop!

I'm thrilled to be sharing with you guys what I've cultivated and learned through the years working with the Ximalhuehuetl aka Hand Drum also known by other names like the Shamans drum, Journey Drum, and Medicine Drum.

(Ximalhuehuetl is the traditional name in the Nahuatl language)



The Hand Drum represents a lot of good things in the native cosmovision one thing the drum represents in most cultures is the heartbeat of Mother Earth. Also, we know instinctively the sound of the drum this is because when we were in our mother's womb for 9 months we heard her heartbeat.

Join us as we welcome the Shanenawa sisters Chief Edina and Mukany and their niece Txana Bazi with the Church of Original Instructions for a weekend of healing at a property in Los Angeles from October 25th to 27th and San Diego from November 1st to 3rd.

A message from Mukany Shanenawa: “Our journey as female leaders has been very challenging, men did not believe in our potential as women; they discriminated against us. Even so, we did not accept “NO” as an answer. We always sought to achieve our goals with our heads held high, conquering our spaces and showing other women that we are capable of overcoming the obstacles that cross our paths.”

During this tour, our community will have the opportunity to receive the sacred medicine and força feminina from the Amazon, nurturing a more profound connection with ourselves, with others, and with the planet.

🌿 Hector "Puma" Garcia, a Kambo practitioner and community facilitator, will guide us with a focus on self-cultivation. As a multi-instrumentalist with specialized knowledge in autoimmune dis-eases, Hector integrates music and healing in his work.

Kambo is a powerful Amazonian medicine known to relieve pain, anxiety, depression, and "panema"—a dark cloud of energy that may surround one from time to time.
