Yesterday, we had a fantastic couple visit the ranch with hopes of adding one of our minis to their family — a sweet heifer they planned to use for children’s photography. But during the visit, the calf they originally came to see decided not to be on their best behavior 😅.

In that moment, the sale wasn’t what mattered most — making sure the right Highland went to the right home was. That’s what being a reputable breeder is all about.

At 32 Mini Highland Ranch, our top priority is the health, temperament, and well-being of every calf we raise. Matching each animal with the perfect family or purpose means far more to us than simply making a sale.

As it turns out, we had another little calf on the ranch — one we hadn’t planned to part with. She’s still nursing and won’t be weaned until February, but she’s such a sweetheart that we knew she’d be the perfect fit for this family. So, we decided to let them claim her early. 💕

Her name is Langley, and while she’ll stay with her mama a while longer, she’s already found her forever home. We’ll miss her greatly when she leaves the ranch, but knowing she’s going to a wonderful family makes it all worthwhile.

We take pride in doing things the right way — with honesty, care, and respect for both our animals and our customers. ❤️
