Joni Grâce, a native of Ontario, Canada, has been capturing the landscape of her world with words and images for most of her life. The works that compile FEELING IN THE GAP, her first book of poems, were written initially as fragments of poetic prose that chronicle moments of deep feeling and reflection about life, love, loss and the resiliency of a seeking heart. The collection came together thro

ugh the Spring, Summer and Fall of 2020, a time of challenge and change for the entire world. Joni has had a deep affinity with the natural world since she was a 16-year-old adventurer lured by the lakes and woodlands of the west coast of Canada and the Ontario cottage country. This is especially on display in her next two books, THE ONGOING and CARRIED AWAY, in which her odyssey with nature permeates her writings and is commingled with her personal quest to express the "I-that-is-more" in the deepest recesses of our humanity.
