You might experience listening to the original tracks, or you might hear a live dj set that's entirely comprised of remixes that are spinning completely impromptu. Depending on the circumstances of the moment, this program could even jump so far as to present a live studio performance from one of today's hottest acts or possibly even a band you've most likely never even heard of. It all depends on whose hosting, what's been happening recently, what's going on currently, and where we along with our humble audience want to take the ride to. But no matter where the journey takes us, whatever is happening will always subscribe to the notion that, regardless of what is about to transpire, it MUST remain A) Genuinely Authentic, B) Cool As F***!, C) Honest & Sincere, and D) Funky As F***!. But in a pious effort to return to the music, let's save any further commentaries on this subject for a later time; a directed effort which brilliantly expresses why the term 'Jazz' continues to claim authority over this uniquely american form of educated art music: It's a funny sounding word with only one syllable that uses two 'z's' when few words even use one; it takes less time to say then even the universal term for 'music' does, which allows for that much more jamming opportunity to happen, by way of its suave approach to reaching an all-encompassing mode of definition. One that says everything while having to say almost nothing at the same time in such a way that, it creates a grand cryptology that easily unfolds itself into a vast musical index of feelings and ideas to those learned peeps who get it, while effectively shutting out all the derpy-derp commoners who don't get it. The content of these lectures span a vast knowledge of concepts ranging from science to art, from to business to philosophy and everything in between. Everyone within the guild has long treasured the TED foundation for what it does and what it stands for, and over the years each of us have tirelessly sought out and collected many interesting and thought-provoking segments ranging from a large host of various topics that have been presented through TED by what are a myriad of brilliant minds. In lieu of this fact, we thought we would share these experiences with you in an effort to help promote a even greater understanding and further the goal of what the TED is trying to accomplish by offering you the same educational insights that have guided us and firmly cemented our undying support for this magnificent organization and all the great things that they have contributed to over these many long years.
