Say what ... of all the bands and musicians

Yesterday, we spent the evening interviewing Nils Erickson of Rainbow Recording Studios for our documentary. Nils has been part of the Omaha music scene for over 50 years, both as a musician, songwriter, and sound/recording engineer. Nils began playing in bands in his pre-teens and built his first speaker at the age of 14. Nils also founded Rainbow Recording Studios in 1976. Since then, Nils has recorded many famous bands at his studio such as Boyz II Men, The California Raisins, and most famously, the first two albums by the Omaha band, 311, who were still in their teens the first time they entered Nils' studio. Later, Nils founded and fronted the popular Omaha band, Paddy O'Furniture. In his interview, Nils shared a lot of great stories about all of his experiences in the Omaha music scene through the years. Nils also provided us with an abundance of great information that we know you'll find fascinating when you see our completed film next year.
