It was a lot of fun finding the (literal) balance of the different items and bringing this simple and elegant image to life

Don’t stress! And definitely don’t grab that shirt that you bought 6 years ago and still have yet to wear (you know the one!)

Here are my tips on how to pick out an awesome photoshoot outfit that feels very *YOU*

And yes, I doooooo realize in the last tip that I use the phrase ‘great hair day’ next to an image that includes a hat BUT YOU KNOW I LOVE A DAD HAT!!! I couldn’t leave my newest fav dad hat out of an outfit photoshoot 😂

I looooove it when my photo clients are up for finding the unconventional backdrops for photos. And of course my girl is up for an adventure!!

Melanie has the kind of laugh that brightens up a room and having a conversation with her instantly makes your day better. I wanted her headshot photos to share her warm personality and show that sparkle that makes her so dang awesome.

Melanie ooobviously understood the assignment because she seriously SHINES in these pics! That first one especially is pure Melanie Magic and it makes my heart so dang happy!

Mel Robbins’ insight that ‘it’s about understanding where you are right now’ shifted my perspective. Taking the time to reflect and inspect my personal experiences will provide the clarity I need to create a powerful roadmap for 2025

Inspired by her themes, I created a list of reflection questions to dive deeper into my year - and I hope they’ll inspire you too!

Feeling those Christmas Leftovers vibez

Gotta love the weirdest week of them all! The Christmas Cheer has left the building but I’m a little too exhausted to find all my New Years Hopes & Dreams quite yet (5 Christmas events, 1 of which was hosting 22 people on Christmas Eve will do that to a gal)

In between checking my poor neglected email and tucking The Manager’s newly acquired toys into their homes, I felt amused by all the little leftover pieces of Christmas. Obviously a procrastination photo shoot had to happen
