✍️ : 2019 to 2021 was a CRAZY stretch for Lawton rap. There were multiple hits dropping left & right from various artists. Several of them who pulled hundreds of thousands of streams & views during the time— completely independent with no promotion or any real knowledge of how the music industry worked. This was in large part aided by Danny J Soto and ScholarKidVisuals who made artists look clean in their videos. Unfortunately, disputes and politics led to issues beyond music that eventually caused the scene to slow down. Still it was a special time in Oklahoma rap. What could’ve been.
