Teaching Textbooks provides an amazing opportunity for children to learn math anywhere and anytime. All they need is an electronic device such as a phone, computer, or iPad to have math at their fingertips. As a long time homeschooling mom with a degree in English, I have found it difficult to explain math concepts I don’t remember to my children. We have spent many grueling days trying to understand concepts I have long ago forgotten and my children struggle to understand. Teaching textbooks makes it easy for children to learn and maintain their knowledge of math as they progress through the program. I love that it gives immediate feedback so my kids can make sure they are doing the lesson correctly. We have only been using their program for a few months but math time has gone from painful to pleasant- the kids want to work on math because it’s easy to understand and rewarding to finish. And, I have confidence that they’re doing their lessons correctly without spending hours grading papers. It has really given us all the time and opportunity to do so much more than just math every single day.

"We started using Teaching Textbooks when Miracle was in 2nd grade (using Math 3) because I was tired of doing it all and I'd heard about this curriculum in another YouTube video. I remember thinking that if this could just take one thing off of my plate, it would be a game-changer. I sat beside her for about the first week or two until she told me, ""Mom, I got it!"" That's when I knew we had a winner!

Teaching Textbooks helped her to understand all the concepts that she needed explained and she really didn't need much of my help at all. Now, if you have taught math, you know that this is very unusual. They teach in a way that's engaging and easy understand.

Fast forward years later, as a now working homeschooling mom of three, it has been an invaluable curriculum in my children's educational career. I can't do it all and thankfully I don't have to. It truly does take a village and I'm so grateful to have Teaching Textbooks as a part of mine. "

When a piece of scratch paper is not handy while doing math on the go, Teaching Textbooks has a solution built into the app. The digital scratchpad will let your child write out their math problems within the app. All work done on the scratchpad is even saved in case they need to refer back to it.
