🌞 Day Three in Daytona Beach Area: An Unforgettable Adventure 🌊

Today I started bright and early at 5 AM with an awe-inspiring sight of a rocket launch off the coast. There's truly nothing like witnessing the power and majesty of space exploration firsthand! 🚀

After this thrilling start, I headed back to bed for a little more shut-eye, then when I woke up again, I headed over to Joe's Deck & Grill for breakfast. The shrimp & grits were a delight, and watching surfers ride the waves added a perfect coastal vibe to my morning. 🏄‍♂️🍤

Next stop: Daytona International Speedway ! Taking the Track Tour was exhilarating, especially getting to sign the finish line with a Sharpie. The Motorsports Hall of Fame of America, included with the tour, was a true homage to racing legends. 🏁🏎️

For lunch, I indulged in some mouth-watering barbecue at 4 Rivers Smokehouse at ONE DAYTONA. It's a must-visit if you're a fan of slow-smoked meats! 🍖 Plus ONE Daytona is right across from the track. It's a great entertainment district with shops, restaurants, etc.

The afternoon was packed with adventure at Daytona Aquarium and Rainforest Adventure where we experienced a virtual swim with sharks. 🦈🌿 It was both thrilling and educational!

Art lovers rejoice! The Museum of Arts & Sciences and the Cici and Hyatt Museum of Art captured my heart, especially the special Audubon Birds of Florida exhibit at the art museum. Such incredible artistry and history all in one place. 🎨🖼️

One of the two best meals this trip was on this day. I had dinner at Hull's Seafood Restaurant in Ormond Beach and feel it's a must try. Their seafood offerings are fresh and flavorful with offerings straight off their boats– a true taste of Daytona! 🐟 I really enjoyed the shark bites appetizer and blackened mackerel for dinner

While in Ormand Beach, we walked around the cute spots along West Granada Boulevard including a chick prohibition-era spot and tiki bar.

To finish out the night, we went to see Magic of Lights holiday light displays at the Daytona Speedway.
