Romans 15: 1-9

Now we who are strong in our convictions and faith ought to patiently put up with the weaknesses of those who are not strong, and not just please ourselves. Let each one of us make it a practice to please his neighbor for his good, to build him up spiritually. For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, “the reproaches of those who reproached the Father fell on the Son.” For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.

Now may the God who gives endurance and who supplies encouragement grant that you be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord you may with one voice glorify and praise and honor the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, continue to accept and welcome one another, just as Christ has accepted and welcomed us to the glory of our great God. For I tell you that Christ has become a servant and a minister to the Jews on behalf of God’s truth, to confirm and verify the promises made to the fathers, and for the Gentiles to glorify God for His mercy to them, since God had no covenant with them.

Romans 13: 8-12

Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, “you shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder, you shall not steal, you shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are all summed up in this word: “you shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. Besides this, you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then, let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.

2 Corinthians 4: 6-10

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give us the Light of the knowledge of the glory and majesty of God clearly revealed in the face of Christ. But we have this precious treasure - the good news about salvation - in unworthy earthen vessels of human frailty, so that the grandeur and surpassing greatness of the power will be shown to be from God (His sufficiency) and not from ourselves. We are pressured in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; hunted down and persecuted, but not deserted to stand alone; struck down, but never destroyed; always carrying around in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the resurrection life of Jesus also may be shown in our body.

"Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on Him God the Father has set His seal.”
Then they said to Him, “What must we do, to be doing the works of God?”
Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”
So they said to Him, “Then what sign do you do, that we may see and believe you? What work do you perform? Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’”
Jesus then said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
They said to him, “Sir, give us this bread always.”
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of Him who sent me. And this is the will of Him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that He has given me, but raise it up on the last day For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in Him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

John 3: 1-12

There was a man named Nicodemus, a Jewish religious leader who was a Pharisee. After dark one evening, he came to speak with Jesus. “Rabbi,” he said, “we all know that God has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you.”
Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”
“What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?”
Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.”
“How are these things possible?” Nicodemus asked.
Jesus replied, “You are a respected Jewish teacher, and yet you don’t understand these things? I assure you, we tell you what we know and have seen, and yet you won’t believe our testimony. But if you don’t believe me when I tell you about earthly things, how can you possibly believe if I tell you about heavenly things?"

John 14: 1-12

"Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God the Father, and trust also in Me. There is more than enough room in My Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with Me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going.”
“No, we don’t know, Lord,” Thomas said. “We have no idea where You are going, so how can we know the way?”
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Me. If you had really known Me, you would know who My Father is. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him!”
Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”
Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father! So why are you asking Me to show Him to you? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I speak are not My own, but My Father who lives in Me does His work through me. Just believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me. Or at least believe because of the work you have seen Me do."

Isaiah 11: 1-10

Then a Shoot (the Messiah) will spring from the stock of Jesse [David’s father], and a Branch from his roots will bear fruit. And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him - the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and strength, the Spirit of knowledge and of the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord. And He will delight in the fear of the Lord, and He will not judge by what His eyes see, nor make decisions by what His ears hear, but with righteousness and justice He will judge the poor, and decide with fairness for the downtrodden of the earth, and He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked. And righteousness will be the belt around His loins, and faithfulness the belt around His waist.

And the wolf will dwell with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the young lion and the fatted steer together, and a little child will lead them. And the cow and the bear will graze together, their young will lie down together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the nursing child will safely play over the hole of the cobra, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den and not be hurt. They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Then in that day the nations will make supplications to the Root of Jesse, Who will stand as a signal for the peoples, and His resting place will be glorious.

2 Corinthians 4: 6-11; 16-18

For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.

We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies. Yes, we live under constant danger of death because we serve Jesus, so that the life of Jesus will be evident in our dying bodies.

That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

Galatians 5:13-25

For you, my brothers, were called to freedom; only do not let your freedom become an opportunity for the sinful nature (worldliness, selfishness) but through love serve and seek the best for one another. For the whole Law is fulfilled in one precept, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you bite and devour one another (in bickering and strife), watch out that you are not consumed by one another.

But I say, walk habitually in the Holy Spirit, seek Him and be responsive to His guidance, and then you will certainly not carry out the desire of the sinful nature, which responds impulsively without regard for God and His precepts. For the sinful nature has its desire which is opposed to the Spirit, and the desire of the Spirit opposes the sinful nature; for the sinful nature and the Spirit are in direct opposition to each other - they are continually in conflict - so that you do not always do whatever good things you want to do. But if you are guided and led by the Spirit, you are not subject to the Law.

Now the practices of the sinful nature are clearly evident: they are sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions that promote heresies, envy, drunkenness, riotous behavior, and other things like these. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience (not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting), kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature together with its passions and appetites. If we claim to live by the Holy Spirit, we must also walk by the Spirit (our conduct being empowered by the Holy Spirit).

Leadership

TV7 Israel is headed by its Chief Executive Officer and Editor in Chief, Mr. Jonathan Hessen, who serves the Ministry together with his wife, Mrs. Ma’ayan Hessen. A Jerusalem-born Evangelical Christian with a strong family background within the sectors of Israel’s domestic media and government, Mr. Hessen is an accomplished writer and entrepreneur. An IDF (combat) veteran, with a background in intelligence, strategic research and government, Mr. Hessen chose to use his experience for the purpose of serving the Body of Christ around the world, to educate and encourage active research regarding events that impact Israel’s peace and security. Mr. Hessen’s aim: “To provide Christians with the required knowledge of how to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122).”
