Finna be the Hokage, the Pirate and the Wizard King
Whole squad of protagonists
Gods walking around with me
The path is long and arduous
And it’s never in a straight line
Break free from your perception
Form the wrinkles of your own mind

Often lost as a kid
Never really had a place
Not black enough for my peers
Whites had fear in their face
Get in where you fit in
I was told and so I did
Cut pieces of myself off to fit in the square bin
Never again
I told myself long ago
Imma be strange on the main stage
Shake my hair and glow
Who knew the key to success was just discipline
Who knew the light we all seek was just stored within

I looked back and forward at the same time
To see what was and can be
Unattached from the world
I seem to have lost my continuity
Can’t loose myself though
Cause all I see are mirrors

Often makes it hard to listen
I try to act like striving for greatness is my only addiction
But THC, salt and sugar help me maintain my diction
