Coy wins!

Congrats to Coy Davidson of Elgin FFA for winning the National Championship in the FFA Prepared Public Speaking contest at the 97th annual meeting of the National FFA
Davidson won the right to represent Oklahoma last May and was declared the National Champion in the Final Four of the contest on Thursday.

For the first in recent memory- the three Oklahoma FFA members representing the state in the national speech contests have all made the Final four in their category

Cierra Collins of Frederick spoke in the Final Four of the Creed- results will announced in the 1 pm central session today

Cooper Kline of North Rock Creek just spoke a few moments ago in the ExtemporaneousContest- they announce results tonight

Coy Davidson of Elgin is in the Finals of Prepared Public Speaking- he speaks at 11 central and we will know the results this evening as well

Here's a Wednesday morning update from the National FFA Convention in Indy
Our speakers are in the middle of preliminary round efforts- Coy Davidson of Elgin will speak shortly in the Prepared Public Speaking contest- Cierra Collins of Frederick is also speaking soon- Cooper Kline of North Rock Creek has already spoke in the first round of Extemp- we will know if he has advanced at 1 eastern time

I judged on behalf of Oklahoma in the first round of Prepared Speaking this morning and that went well-

And yesterday we featured National FFA President Amara Jackson- who is an undergrad at Oklahoma State- and will be returning to Stillwater in January after her year as National President- here's that story from our web- remember- our reports are powered by Oklahoma Farm Bureau!
