Meet Williams of owner of BlackRock Mortgage Company, NMLS 341780, Company NMLS 2095438 of OKC and member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dewayne has been in the mortgage business since 1996 but in 2021 several life altering events afforded him the opportunity to narrow his focus and commit his time to evolving as a highly recognized and trained mortgage professional which resulted in building BlackRock Mortgage. In the beginning becoming a broker was not his life dream. When asked how did you choose your profession his response “I often state I did not choose this profession, but it chose me. My initial goal after college was to have a career as a wall street stockbroker, but life had other plans in store for me.

BlackRock Mortgage Company maintains a wide base of corporate banks and private lending institutions for clients that seek the expertise of our team to finance their acquisition of mortgages and real estate investments, regardless of the credit quality or income of our clients, we work diligently to secure the funds for their residential and commercial mortgage needs. BlackRock provides many different loan products to give clients options and flexibility in their buying process. They have first time home buyer loans, FHA, VA, USDA Conventional and One Time construction loans.

When asked what Dewayne is mostly proud of, he says “I am always proud to see families obtain home ownership and financial independence”. He goes on to say that for his community, BlackRock Mortgage Company created a credit repair workshop that empowers and educates borrowers on how important their credit scores are for future growth. Working in the community comes from being a part of the greatest fraternity on earth, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., as well as being a member of Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church. My active involvement allows me to be a part of multiple community events and outreach programs throughout Oklahoma City. His dream for his community is 85% of people who live within that community own property to help increase generational wealth.
