Not one but three possible LPA/ tropical systems could move towards the Philippines especially Mindanao and Visayas this weekend, then the start of the week next week, then another the following week. This could bring a lot of rains to the Philippines and cause a lot of flooding. Definitely an active pattern.

It shows 1 tropical low hitting Visayas and Southern Luzon by next Monday or Tuesday.

The second tropical low hitting Mindanao and Visayas on Tuesday/Wednesday.

It seems as of right now these lows will produce very heavy rains.

I will keep you updated. We will know more exacts by this weekend.

Thank you Philippines for allowing me and Jenny watch over you during these typhoons. I know you have your local weather people and that’s ok but what makes us unique is we watch the whole World and we love doing it. We love interacting with people around the World and meet new people.

Pepito’s current location puts it 107 miles from Baler, Aurora. If it’s moving at 12 mph ( 20 kph) then that’s another 9 hours until landfall. It’s still forecasted to be a super typhoon at landfall.

Red is greatly affected area currently.

Blue is the area that will be greatly affected later today and into tomorrow.

Heavy rains will spread throughout Luzon and strong winds throughout today. Flooding will be a major concern.

Sorry I had to correct it. Still getting used to metrics.

New signal alerts for Pepito by Pagasa.

I still think that Pepito will come close to the Northern side of the Polillo Island, then make landfall near Baler then exit La Union. It still affect a large area of Luzon. If it misses Polillo Islabd then it could be a stronger super typhoon up to 195 kph hitting the Baler, Aurora area.

Pepito is only moving 15 mph right now. Polilo Island is 170 miles from Catanduanes. That’s 11 hours. So it’s going to be awhile for Pepito to reach Polilo. We have 10 more hours or more before the second landfall. So that means a long night and morning for Bicol and Calabarzon. That’s why I’m taking it one area at a time.

Red is the area now for the next 6 hours.

Blue is the next area I will focus on.

Yellow will be the focus on Sunday into Monday.
