I appreciate for coming to interview me and thank you to everyone who shown support. This is only a part of my story.
Growing up I already understood how fortunate I am, especially from a family full of immigrants. I went to Vietnam and Cambodia a few times when I was young but couldn't remember much. In 2015 I went back to Vietnam again and it was an experience I will never forget from seeing how life is here compared to there.
I had just met my little cousin Khoa who I spent more than half my time with during the trip. He's such a smart kid. The day before I came back to the US, I was really tired so I was laying on my grandmother's hammock. He came up and said "Come play with me, I don't know when's the next time I'll see you again." Man did that hit me so hard, especially to this day because I haven't been back yet since then. That same day I made a deep promise to Khoa not only to come back, but to bring back what he wished for and much more. He was 6 at the time so he may not remember, but I do. I still remember the big promises I made to myself and to other people 10, even 20 years ago and I'm sure I'm going to make more in the future. This is part of why I do things the way I do. I'm not stopping until all of them are executed.
I'm just getting started trust me. I have a lot I need to do, and I will get it done
