📢 Foul Weather Shelter Activated

Due to forecasted rain, the City of Ventura, in partnership with River Community Church, will activate the Foul Weather Shelter Program on Tuesday, December 23.

Forty (40) motel rooms have been reserved for individuals 62+ and/or with chronic medical conditions. Rooms are limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Individuals without a room will receive a stay-warm kit.

📍 Intake Location: River Community Church on Tues. 12/23: 859 E. Santa Clara St., Ventura 🕔 Arrive between 5–6 PM (Line-up may begin at 4 PM)

Transportation to the motel will be provided following intake. The shelter is expected to remain open through Friday, December 26, weather permitting.
