Bridge Fire breaks out in Santa Clara Riverbed near Fillmore

A vegetation fire broke out in the Santa Clara Riverbed west of Chambersburg Road in Fillmore around 1:23 p.m. on Sunday, June 21.

A ghost bike memorial off PCH is dedicated to Kellie Standish and William Colby Tucker who were killed after an alleged drunk driver crashed into them on June 11. A third cyclist was also injured and rushed to Ventura County Medical Center. Two celebrations of life are taking place on Friday and Saturday with support from Ventura Coffee Ride and another was held by Sisar Canyon Run Club this week.
