We've known about TCE around Hill AFB for decades, but the testing and mitigation are still under way.

Do you think years of testing and cleanup are enough? Could there be people in this area that were impacted by this chemical and will never know?

Does Hill AFB have a responsibility to study the long term affects of these spills and give compensation? Is it even possible to link a case of kidney cancer to this contamination?

I still have a lot of questions about this, but one thing I know is that people should be aware of this.

There are those who remember when bringing growth, opportunity, and progress to Ogden was not guaranteed.

There's something about Easy Pete. We can't quite put our nose on it. He's just another one of the friendly people you'll meet on a Friday night in downtown Ogden. Weber County is sending two delegates to next week's Democratic National Convention One of them is Oscar Mata who is a member of the DNC, Vice-Chair of the Utah Democrats and former Executive Director of the Weber Democrats Oscar has been involved in Democratic politics since before he could vote, and this is his third time serving as a National Delegate for Utah. He's responsible for recruiting many of the names you've seen on your ballot. Are you excited for the Democratic National Convention? Will you be watching any of the speeches? Do you think there will be protests or riots?

Upgrades are coming to Causey Reservoir. A new boat ramp and two new parking lots are expected to be completed before July 1 2025. I tried to go to Causey earlier this year and couldn't find a place to park, so to me, these changes are long overdue. In fact, these plans have been in the works since 2019. What do you think is the best part about causey? Is it the boating, swimming, cliff jumping, hiking, camping, or just sitting by the water?
