The Lincoln County Commissioners appointed Jo Gilchrist, the county's recently-retired 911 coordinator, to fill Mark Stedman's vacated District No. 1 Commissioner seat this afternoon. Gilchrist is believed to be the first female county commissioner in Lincoln County's history.
