NEW TRAFFIC IMPROVEMENT COMING SOON

***Dolphin Ave NE and Albatross***

Attention residents of Ocean Shores

We are pleased to announce a collaborative effort between the community, city administration, and the Ocean Shores Police Department to enhance the safety of our neighborhood. In response to concerns regarding speeding on Dolphin Ave NE, we have arranged for the installation of new stop signs at the intersection of Dolphin Ave NE and Albatross. This intersection will now become a 4-Way Stop, aimed at mitigating the speeding issue and ensuring the safety of all residents and pedestrians.

The new stop signs will be installed on Dolphin Ave on December 20th. It is crucial for all community members to stay alert and adhere to the new traffic regulations once the signs are in place. This will help create a safer environment for everyone in our community.

We kindly request your cooperation in spreading this information among your neighbors, friends, and family. Increased awareness about the new stop signs will ensure that all drivers are prepared and vigilant when approaching the intersection. By working together and sharing this news, we can collectively contribute to the safety and well-being of our community.

Thank you for your support and understanding. Let us continue to prioritize safety and make Ocean Shores a great place to live.

Mrs. Claus's elves will be busy next week hiding 25 beautiful hand-blown glass ornaments around town in businesses and shops for you to find.

Here are some guidelines should you choose to play with us.

*YOU MAY NOT ASK if a business has an ornament, and they will not tell you. Figuring it out is part of the fun!
* You are looking for 1 of 25 hand-blown glass ornaments packaged in clear gift boxes with green ribbons around them. There is a tag attached to each box with instructions for what to do once you've found your treasure. Each ornament is numbered and we have recorded where that number was hidden. Please keep one per person only, so everyone has a chance to play.
* Check our FB page regularly for clues and hints. They will be posted randomly and in random order/amount each day.
* You may NOT ask if a particular location has an ornament. Participants will not offer you any tips. You are expected to explore the location (and get to know some of our wonderful local businesses).
* Once you find your treasure, please follow the instructions on the attached tag. Let the establishment know you found their ornament. Take a pic (selfie if needed) of you with the ornament in the location you found it (the business will also take their own pic). Post that pic on our FB page (here) with the ornament number, your name and where you found it, with the hashtag .
* Take your treasure home and enjoy the holidays in our lovely little town.
Thanks for playing!
