TOO MUCH FUN?
In celebration of the long-overdue end of 2025 and the welcome arrival of 2026, join us for The Haze New Year’s Day at a special time from 5 to 9 p.m. ET on WEES. It will be a one-time, unprecedented FOUR-HOUR, COMMERCIAL-FREE marathon of the finest music from the 60s and beyond, carefully selected to appropriately ring in the new year.

Craig Johnson has generously offered the time slot for his Vinyl Curtain program this week to make this extravaganza possible. He may even make an appearance, depending on the extent of his revelry the night before.

This is the perfect soundtrack, whether you are recovering from the gruelling holiday season, still partying or watching your eighth bowl game of the last two days.

Couch Potato Pro Tip: Mute the game commentators and listen to us instead! Because, honestly- would you rather receive the latest update from a color commentator about that linebacker’s excruciating groin injury sustained during the first quarter or listen to Susan Tedeschi sing classic blues while her husband Derek shreds a solo?

And, this night only, if there is a song you just have to hear, give me a call at our studio request line during the show, 410/520-0373, and I will try to oblige.

Tune in Thursday night, 5 to 9 p.m. ET:

Or just say, “Alexa, play WEES radio.”
