We like to carry those beautiful songs into the new year with us so enjoy the carols through New Years Day on WRGE and we won't fade them out completely until around Jan 6th which parts of the world celebrate as their Christmas Day!

BEGIN PREPARATIONS NOW FOR TROPICAL STORM IDALIA!

As Tropical Depression 10 has developed into Tropical Storm Idalia, it is time to begin preparations for possible hurricane-strength winds in Marion County. Current forecasts have also predicted around 3"-6" of rainfall.

Now is the time to:
- Gather emergency preparedness supplies
- Secure objects that might be blown around
- Prune weakened limbs
- Be prepared to relocate from mobile homes,
and substandard housing in high-impact areas
- Utilize extra lines and fenders on boats in
marinas and haul out small boats

One of our favorite times of summer in the Florida heat is to turn on an occasional CHRISTmas carol or two during our annual CHRISTmas in July...so sing along to "Joy to the World" and all the other carols and remember it's only five months or so til we will be airing them continously!
