Grade 1 Winner of the $1 Million Whitney at Saratoga Race Course, Arthur's Ride was bred in Florida by Helen and Joseph Barbazon (of Pleasant Acres Stallions) and Tapit Syndicate.

Arthur’s Ride is the eighth Florida-bred winner of the Whitney. In addition to Sultry Song, Florida-bred Whitney winners include Carry Back (1962), Dr. Fager (1968), Tri Jet (1974), Dancing Gun (1976), Nearly On Time (1977) and Island Whirl (1983).
