NHC 5am Advisory: track shifted east, Keaton beach for landfall. Now is a cat 4 let’s see if they call it a 5 at landfall. Here is all updates.

NHC 4am position update:
Pressure is down to 941 (technically cat 4 on scale) NHC goes on wind scale though but winds are up to 125. Movement changed to NNE at 17mph. Looking for a eastward shift on cone again at 5am. Possibly back towards Steinhatchee.

‼️2am NHC ADVISORY‼️

is now a Major Category 3 hurricane pressure at 945 wind speeds 120mph. Moving at 15mph. Speeds have slowed 3mph since last update.
Only thing NHC updated was track a tad west barely moved and now it’s a Major hurricane.

Major update 11pm NHC Advisory:

Hurricane is still a Cat 2, predicted Cat 3 at anytime. Projected to be a Cat 4 at landfall. Storm surge has upped now 12-16ft on the big bend. That is roughly the final area it will make landfall +- 20 miles. I will be going to cheifland in the AM with coverage. 2am update coming soon shouldn’t be too much change as it’s a intermediate update.

I know I made a post about being in Crystal River in the AM for the storm, plans have changed. I will be staging in cheifland I have found 3 locations I can use. I should be there early AM with coverage.

5pm advisory NHC :

is now a Cat. 2 with pressure at 972 moving 16mph N winds at 98mph gusts of 121mph.
Marion,Lake,Sumter & Alachua are all out of the cone now. Cone has Shrinked, it has moved 20 miles West. NHC is saying they are pretty firm on the land location now. Keaton beach is the impact zone now.
Below are all updated graphs. Marion county still needs to be prepared. They will still have the rain and wind impacts even with it being that far away as we are east side of storm.
