This week in Hall County is Empowering Girls through Sports Week. The vision of the Hall County Schools Empowering Girls through Sports Week is to unite as one and promote the benefits of sports for girls. The goal is to increase girls' participation in sports throughout Hall County at all ages. The hope is to use sports to build higher levels of confidence, self-esteem, life skills, and leadership potential in our girls. We will strive to educate parents and students on the opportunities Hall County has to participate in sports while exposing them to successful female student-athletes and other positive female role models. Throughout the week, we will celebrate our athletes, share the benefits of playing sports, educate our community on sports opportunities in Hall County, and empower our athletes to be positive role models by serving in elementary schools. #hcsdleadherforward

This weekend Mr. Elsey was picked to sing the National Anthem at the Phillies/Braves post season game.
What an awesome experience! Way to go Mr. Elsey! If you look closely you can see former WHHS chorus director Dr. Tim Gale too.
