Come take a guided tour of Oakland Temple Hill with one of our friendly volunteers. On the tour, you’ll be guided through interactive displays, get an inside look at the history of the Oakland Temple, walk the grounds, and have an amazing experience with Thorvaldsen’s Christus.

Our first class in a series, “Build Your Story” is being offered for the first time at the Oakland FamilySearch Center tomorrow, September 19th at 11:00 am. We’ll be meeting in the large classroom in the Oakland FamilySearch Center at 4766 Lincoln Avenue in Oakland and learning how to take your photos, newspaper clippings, memorabilia and documents to create a story that you can share for generations to come. The classes and workshops will run through December.

The Lamb of God Easter oratorio returns to the Oakland Temple Hill Auditorium for performances on Friday March 29 at 7 PM, Saturday March 30 at 2 PM and Sunday, March 31 at 7 PM.
Bring the family to enjoy this beautiful music and message which recounts the events of the final days of the life and resurrection of Jesus Christ. A featured cellist along with thirteen vocal soloists join the 120 voice Temple Hill Choir and live Orchestra for the eleventh year of performing Rob Gardner’s Lamb of God. The concert is free of charge and open to all who wish to celebrate the Easter season.
