Women Who Pray Behind Your Back

There’s so much power when women come together. Yesterday, we gathered online with leaders in our global Lean In Circles community, which we often do during times of crisis. It became a space to discuss the Israel-Hamas conflict and respectfully share thoughts and feelings. We were struck and deeply saddened by their personal stories. One woman from Israel talked about the horror her friends and family experienced on Oct. 7. Another woman spoke openly and heartbreakingly about the islamophobia she and her family are facing in the US. And together, we talked about the devastating impact of this crisis on women in both Gaza and Israel. As is too often the case, women and children are disproportionately impacted by wars they don’t start. We all need to continue to advocate for peace and fight for a world where more women are driving the decisions that shape the world we live in.

I started Women Who Pray Behind Your Back because I recognized as a Content Creator I needed other women (and men) who would support me and one another in an exciting venue that at times can be isolating.
As a Christian, I also believe in the Lord Jesus and in the power of prayer. We need one another without sabotage but with supporting one another's efforts to connect with each other and the world for the better. I am grateful for all of you who share a bit of yourselves on my platform.
