We are continuing to watch a line of strong to severe storms just back towards our west. This will continue to push closer to our region but will likely weaken as it pushes east. However, still be on alert for a few heavy downpours and a thunderstorm or two.

Did anyone catch the Northern Lights last night? They were visible into far northern West Virginia. Well, the Kp index as of now supports the Northern Lights visible down into our area. The peak of the event is likely occurring early this afternoon before it drops off, so as of now, the Northern Lights tonight will only be visible across the far northern tier of the U.S. into Canada.
