I'm not an expert, but in my 4 years in this journey, I learned a lot about my natural curly hair. One thing is that cold weather can frizz and dry our hair. I'm happy to learn how to manage my damaged hair during winter. My hair will not always be perfect, but knowing what my hair needs helped me to worry less and to fix it quickly.

I did a refresh on 3rd day, after wash day. It's really frustrating when this happens. 😩 Does this happen on your curly hair? You might be wondering why. Well, I think these are the reasons why some of my natural curls stick out like this, mainly in the back. I probably applied less product on that day (especially on the back). Or my hair might need a treatment (too much protein). The last thing I can think of is because of the cold weather? 😅 (It was 40°F that day) .

I've been in this curly hair journey for 3 years and half now. The road may not be smooth but I can proudly say that I finally achieved a healthier curls! I can't believe how much my hair has changed! Check out my 2019, 2020 and 2021 curly hair progress. 2019 when I started documenting my curly hair journey, but I wasn't really that commited as I have different priorities. So I only take pictures or make vlogs when I have spare time. If you notice, 2021 wasn't complete. That's when depression and anxiety hit me hard. However, in 2022, I posted quite few pictures and vlogs than the last year. I'm a newbie into making vlogs and so I still have so much to learn. I'm happy to see that there's a lot of curly beauties out there who gives an inspiration and motivation to other newbie like me. Thank you !

Oh and to my "Self doubt", watch out! As I will just keep going in this journey..💪😏

Temperature was in 50's and my hair was like 40% wet. 🙈 (keri lang yarn!)
Don't worry I was outside for only 2min. 😁

Guess how long it took me to style my hair after washing?

15mins! 😱
Ikr!!!?? 🤣 it was the best feeling !!
I wish It'll always be like that — quick and easy.
