NJ State requirement is that any contract awarded over $44,000 must go out to bid. But that’s not how it works with the Nutley BOE according to the former member, Mrs. Karen A. Yeamans. According to Mrs. Yeamans “That’s a decision for the board to make as a whole.” (See video below) Is this still how it’s being done today? We are requesting the Commissioner of Education step in immediately and relieve all of the board members and administration at once.
