The engines roared, the music played, and the neighborhood came alive with excitement as the much-anticipated Final Stroll ILON Auto Show unfolded, showcasing an incredible day of automotive enthusiasts, community spirit, and family fun. Orchestrated by Jenni and Jim, Stroll Island Lake of Novi's publishers, and made possible by the generous sponsorship of Michigan Landscape Professionals and Terri Lloyd & Co., the event left an indelible mark on everyone who attended.
Michigan Landscape Professionals took center stage by sponsoring and announcing the prestigious awards for the winning cars. With vehicles ranging from vintage classics to sleek imports, the competition was fierce, and the admiration for the craftsmanship and dedication of car owners was evident. Adding a touch of whimsy and artistry to the event was BlingmeupbyApril, the hybrid face painter and balloon expert sponsored by Michigan Landscape Professional, with faces adorned in vibrant colors and imaginative balloon creations, bringing smiles to all. Panera Bread cookies served by Michigan Landscape Professionals provided the perfect indulgence as neighbors strolled the gathering with smiles.
Neighbor Lloyd ODell and his family, business partner Terri Fenelon, and their dedicated team turned the event into a true community celebration, offering yard games that fostered camaraderie and laughter. The rhythm of great music set the tone for the day, accompanied by complimentary hot dogs and chips that fueled the festivities. But the variety of floats stole the show, transporting taste buds on a journey through time. From classic root beer floats to inventive creations like the creamsicle float, cupid float, coke float, and even a shamrock float, the array of flavors was a testament to the organizers' dedication to making the event memorable in every aspect.
The grandeur extended to the winners' circle, where cheers erupted for the triumphant cars and their owners. The 2023 Stroll Island Lake of Novi Auto Show victors were:

Best Import: Ryan Greenwald, proudly showcasing his 1991 Miata.
People's Choice: Paul Pebbles and his captivating 4T Packard.
