There was a time when looking in the mirror was my biggest battle. I had negative self-image and didn’t feel great about my body.
I remember when my friend reached out to do this bo***ir shoot in Nashville with . I was so hesitant to book the session because I kept thinking I “needed to get in better shape first.” Now, looking back, I’m so glad I didn’t wait. I now reflect on these with pride and appreciation that I allowed myself to feel beautiful in my skin regardless of my size.
Fast forward to now: Fitness, nutrition, and taking care of my mental health became my lifelines. Slowly but surely, I started focusing on the incredible things my body *can* do instead of picking apart what I thought it lacked. I began fueling it with intention, nurturing my mind, and adopting a mindset rooted in self-love and gratitude.
Now, I’m in a completely different space—mentally, physically, and emotionally. I wake up with more energy, a clearer outlook, and a genuine appreciation for the strength I’ve found within myself. I’ve never felt better or stronger about what my body is capable of.
If you’re struggling with dysmorphia, negative body image, or you just feel like you’re in a slump… know that you are more than enough as you are, and you deserve to feel strong and unstoppable too.
