For the first time ever there will be no Oldies Cafe this Sunday. This is due to the aftermath of the hurricane. It will return next week.

If we sound a little different to you it’s because we’re experiencing a power failure due to hurricane Isaias. We’re on the back up system in California with a limited playlist and hope to return to normal soon. Power lines and trees are down everywhere. This area looks like Sandy version 2.0.

1290 GLI is moving. We have a new home and a new address. We are now broadcasting through Live 365. For directions on how to listen to the Live 365 stream visit our website. You can also download the free Live 365 app from the Apple or Google Play store to listen to 1290 GLI on the go. If you’re already listening to the Live 365 stream you don’t need to do anything. If you’re not you should as soon as possible to ensure uninterrupted service. Thanks!!

Just some updates. The mobile app has stopped working. We're having some problems with Stream Licensing but they tell us a new app is coming.Instead you can find us on Tune In listed as "The Mighty 1290." We're adding album information to the metadata. Normally you see 'Artist - Song Title'. The new format is 'Artist - Song Tile - Album Title'. We're adding the additional information as we can. It will take a long time. Lastly we will need to go off line in the near future to replace a UPS. The outage should last @ 10 minutes. Thanks!
