Today I created a whole new Thank you video for our top donors and big players in Slatersville: America's First Mill Village. We have had one for years that has been updated regularly, but it needed a whole new facelift with some brilliant new music by our amazing Composer Stephen Gilbane and aerials by David Lawlor and Mankato Saloio. Thank you ALL for your wonderful support. Enjoy ๐ gofundme.com/slatersvillefilm, firstmillvillage.com.
And so we have come to the Season Finale of SLATERSVILLE. I cannot adequately express to you how grateful I am to all who have watched every episode faithfully and shared your comments. Your enthusiasm and love for the story surpassed even my own expectations, and for that, I am speechless.
We are working on Season 2 - Premiere date to be determined. Please write or call Rhode Island PBS to tell them how you feel about SLATERSVILLE!! I know many have done so, and they definitely want to hear from you. ๐
"SLATERSVILLE Episode 5: The World According to Uncle Johnny" premieres this Friday, October 14th at 8PM on Rhode Island PBS, and again the next day at 12PM. Please note this episode is longer than the others with a running time of 75 minutes. Thank you!!
Last night was a fantastic event! Over a year ago we were hired by Rev. Meaghan Brower of the Episcopal Conference Center to direct LOVE IS THE ENERGY, a short documentary on the history of the camp for its 70th anniversary gala. It has been an absolute joy to work on this film with so many lovely people. Thank you so much for the opportunity to tell the story of a summer camp. Itโs also really cool to see your film shown to 400 people under a tent on a lovely spring evening. The film will be online at a date to be determined. :-) Visit eccri.org to learn more.
MAE Organization for the Homeless
Last night MAE Organization for the Homeless premiered their fundraising video at their "Be the Light" Gala at the Park Theater in Cranston. It was a joy to create this video through Breaking Branches for Martinha Javid and her crew. This is an amazing group of people, and I invite you to watch this and support them at www.maeorg.org. We produced this with help from Nicole Majik, Julian Borges, Ryan Gill and Connor Morley. Thank you =)
