Coaching has always been a part of my DNA, passed down through my father and brothers.
It’s shaped my journey as a coach, teacher, and mentor.
Some of the most meaningful moments in my coaching career came from working with my daughters, from grade school all the way through high school. Those years weren’t just about sports—they were about life, leadership, and personal growth.
We spent countless hours sitting at the kitchen table, talking through what went well, what didn’t, and what we could do better.
Those conversations were as much about life as they were about games.
Now, even though my daughters are pursuing their own coaching paths—one living with me and the other far away—our “kitchen table talks” haven’t stopped. Some have just moved to FaceTime.
It’s no longer just coach-to-player—it’s coach-to-coach. We exchange ideas, troubleshoot challenges, and celebrate victories together.
Watching them grow into their own coaching roles has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
This journey feels full circle for me. Growing up, my father—who was a coach, teacher, athletic director, and principal—was my first mentor.
I’d sit with him at our kitchen table, talking strategy, leadership, and the art of coaching. He didn’t just teach me how to coach; he showed me how to lead with preparation, adaptability, and a willingness to listen and learn.
These lessons have inspired me to create a coaching mentorship program.
My hope is to offer others the same transformative experience I had with my family and mentors.
This program isn’t just about learning from me—it’s about building a community. Through video calls and interactive sessions, we’ll share ideas, solve problems, and grow together.
Whether you’re an experienced coach or just starting out, this program will help you grow into a coach who inspires, teaches, and leaves a lasting impact.
Let’s sit at the table together, wherever that maybe, and tackle this coaching journey together.
If you’re ready to take your advance your coaching skill set , send me a message, and I’ll share more about what this mentorship offers.
