With Jeep’s abandonment of the manual-transmission Gladiator, the Tacoma now has the market for stick-shift pickups all to itself.

The Tacoma’s manual transmission is available only on four-door, four-wheel-drive models but is offered on multiple trims: the basic work-truck SR, as well as the TRD Sport and TRD Off-Road.

The availability of manual trucks was a given for decades, but not anymore. This is it: the Tacoma and its six-speed manual stand alone on and off-road. Get it while you can, because it likely won’t be around much longer.

FYI

hey! We are going to be at the badlands on Saturday and Sunday October 19-20 to have a great time getting our rigs dirty. This was a last minute off road 101 kind of thing, but nothing formal. We have Camp Sites, 17-18-19 reserved with some room for people to join us camping that night as well! Figure 4-5 more truck we can fit. Just message me if your coming down! Camping sites are on Chitown4x4!
