I just updated the re-mix of this track called "Hey Hey Sister". After listening to the released mix I figured I'd get it a little closer. I've kept my last mix on soundcloud for comparison as well.

For this one I added a bit more of a doubling effect on the lead vocal. I also did some de-essing. The lead guitar need some more warmth and a bit more bite without being to harsh. I also did some work on the drums. A second guitar was to harsh so that was tamed as well. Let's see if you can hear the difference?

"Come along into my dream I'll take you through the Rock Museum". This song pays tribute to the pioneers of rock and roll in a super-sci-fi setting in the heavenly clouds. The best way to envision such a place because the only other way to get there is either by kicking the bucket (not a sure bet) or hitching a ride in my brain's dream world (Good luck surviving that).

This song features me on vocals and bass and my ex-guitar player friend Mr. John Rourke who now resides in Florida.

Hello everyone, I've decided on a date to release this relatively new rock song called "The Rock Museum".

I collaborated with my friend and guitar player Mr. John Rourke just before his move to Florida. John had the idea, the song title and the music and I gave it the lyrics, my voice and other little do-dads like the Bass and such.

So, I did not want to release it without having an inkling of a band to perform it. Ha ha! I have a guitar player who is practicing the material. He hurt his arm but we are staying in touch. It will be a few weeks before we start to practice.
With that in motion, I figured I'd get ahead of the curve and release the tune on Friday October 25th. I will be releasing another in November if all goes well. If you'd like to hear the song, it is currently available on bandcamp.com you can find the direct link in the page below.

Tell me what you think and I am looking forward in playing this live with the band. Perhaps we'll hook up with the wonderful little bar in Worcester, MA for a single release sometime soon. The owner of Husky's Pub is a great gal and loves live music.
