Jess was right. We gave away everything we made on social media and then some. Save22. TSA workers. Food kitchens. Freezers. No expectations. Just doing what felt right.
I told her we’d be blessed tenfold because we always have been. And sure enough… the Lord showed up right on time.
When you do right for the right reasons, it always comes back.

Last night we were rushing between filming Christmas lights and dinner. We were already running behind after posting content and sitting in the car line forever, and by the time we parked, we were in the very last lot and walking a long way in.

Along the walk, we met dozens of people who recognized us, said hello, and shared genuine moments and we loved every second of that.

As we were almost out of earshot, someone called out to us and pitched their restaurant. She talked about how busy it always is and how she doesn’t really need advertising. By the end of the conversation, she asked what our page even was.

It wasn’t about the pitch it was the feeling of being approached only for what someone wanted, without any connection or awareness. Moving forward, we’re choosing to pour into relationships that are genuine and mutual.
