Facebook may have cut us back on our earnings, but the local community sure stepped up. And that part caught us completely off guard.
Most of what we make on Facebook ends up going right back into the videos anyway buying food, supporting local spots and yeah⦠making sure Jessica eats too. So when this holiday season got a little brighter because of some unexpected kindness, it really meant something.
Odori Japanese Steakhouse treated us to a meal, Paula Deenās Family Kitchen comped our lunch and Jersey Mikeās Subs completely surprised us when we stopped in for a quick sub. None of it was expected. All of it was appreciated.
It wasnāt about saving money. It was about feeling seen and supported right here in our own community.
