Poor posture can cause imbalances along the spine which can lead to long term pain stiffness arthritic changes & weakness.
Good posture doesnt only make you look tall and lean but also can help prevent muscle & joint strain and pain.
Start to improve your posture by
imagining a string pulling you upward from between your feet up through your body and up out above your head. Use this as a guide to maintain proper posture.
Stretch your upper body regularly.
Do shoulder blade pinches often.
To maintain my posture, I try to remember pull in my core throughout the day. After a while, it becomes habit.
