This is something that's been weighing very heavily on my heart lately. The current financial situation in our country has left me feeling guilty for trying to sell $15 burgers. Quality aside, it's just not realistic for me and my spirit to continue making a living one burger at a time when so many people are unsure how they'll feed their families every day.
I absolutely adore what I do for a living, but my conscience says I need to find a way to continue making a living and provide relief for my community as best I know how. Food and feeding people is what I know and love more than anything.
I have the knowledge, experience and resources to develop an affordable family meal program. I will be forgoing my traditional operations for the time being, and will be building recipes to be able to deliver affordable quality family meals for everybody.
Being able to afford to feed your family quality meals for roughly $20-$30/meal delivered to you, is something I believe I can provide. This isn't just about SNAP, and it's not about politics, it's about me knowing that regardless of the quality of my food people are hurting and I want to be able to look my community in the eye.
If you or someone you know is struggling, I hope to be able to provide some relief without you having to compromise the quality of the food you feed your family. I don't like thinking that folks will be cutting out real meals in an effort to save money. I have a wealth of knowledge to be able to ensure that you and your family aren't consuming garbage due to financial difficulties.
Will this make me rich? No. Will it help people feel better about what they feed their families without further damaging their bank accounts? I believe so.
I will make sure that each meal will feed a family of 4 comfortably (2 adults & 2 teenagers) for no more than $30 with fresh ingredients and full of flavor. Please don't think that you have to choose between supporting my business and feeding your family good quality food regularly. I want to find a way for all of us to make it through this tough period.
