This weekend at Arkast 2025, People of Northwest Arkansas Podcast was awarded Best Culture Podcast, and we are still taking it in.

Culture is built by people... their stories, their courage, their dreams, their history, their humor, their struggles, and their joy. And that’s why we started this show — it's about the people!

Every episode, we sit down with someone who makes NWA the vibrant, creative, ever-evolving place we love. From artists to educators, founders to doctors, community leaders to everyday neighbors with extraordinary stories... you are the heartbeat of this region.

To be recognized in a category centered around culture feels especially meaningful, because it reflects what we hope and believe the podcast is doing: lifting up voices, connecting our community through stories, and honoring the people who shape this place.
