Buffalo Derek
It’s not all Rock n’ Roll up in here. I’m curious what tomorrow’s Artist will present. Tomorrow is going to be a very different genre.
Buffalo Derek is 18hrs in on tracking this album. Today he brought in a talented harmonica player.
This machine is a half-track stereo machine, which I bought for mastering and mixdowns since it can run at 30 IPS. However, I was pleased to hear it get crunchy on drums at the much slower setting of 7.5 IPS. I think I might want to run my drum bus through this thing for a lot of future projects. It makes the sound come to life!
My first time playing with the newest addition… the tape machine.
Testing out the vocalized (By the legendary Rupert Neve) session recall on the console. Awesomeness!
Analog compressors on every channel that are computer controlled with a “plug in” style interface. Every knob, button, and fader position can be saved and recalled for later use just like a DAW… except this is an analog desk!
Gills in the house tracking drums. It’s always a pleasure recording the amazing Joe Dorn. #chrastmasinjuly #recording #drums.
Productive tracking session with Nick and Doug today.
She’s ready to rock for DOC’s session! #hammond #leslie #drawbars #organ #recordingstudio
Finishing up the JB Martin album. Sounding warm and clear. #mixing #recordingstudio #analoggear
