I’m not married, but I’ve been a part of a lot of weddings, and it’s always exhilarating to be in the presence of people actively experiencing those once in a lifetime moments. It feels like standing close to an electric current, your hair rises on your arm, your tear ducts fill with water as your heart connects to the moment and then after the dust has settled, you think to yourself “wow”, if I felt like that, and today was not even about me, I can’t imagine how that the bride and groom must have felt. …It’s really wild to think about, and it makes me all the more appreciative to be a part of the moment.

I feel like sometimes people get wrapped around the axle thinking that you have to do something crazy and over the top that’s outside of your normal personality in photos, but in reality you don’t, in reality, you just have to be yourself in a way that you are not necessarily comfortable being on a normal basis. The spark is inside you and always has been, and always will be . It’s up to you to show it.
