We are just in the beginning stages of the massive amount of effort that it takes to post a giant screen film, but looking forward to the challenges and satisfaction. We will create at a minimum 5 versions of the film (IMAX® Dome, Fulldome, IMAX® 1.43:1 3D, IMAX® Laser 1.90:1 3D and standard 1.90:1 3D. We will do all those versions for both the feature and the trailer. And that's just English. Then there is French, German, Mandarin, Japanese, Spanish....!

A big congratulations to our friend and mentor Rick Gordon, who won the Giant Screen Cinema Association (GSCA) BIG SHOE award for 2023. This award is given to a member of the GSCA who has given such significant support to the organization that their shoes are too big to fill. (We are pretty sure Rick's feet aren't abnormally large!) Giant screen post production for both Secrets of the Sea and Astronaut: Ocean to Orbit were done 100% at Resolution POST including sound design. Go see them both at the Fernbank Museum!

We are very proud to have worked on the 25th Anniversary Re-release of MacGillivray Freeman Films' EVEREST, the highest-grossing giant screen film of all time. We did the DI for the dome version which is playing in IMAX® laser domes, Giant Screen Films and D3D Cinema domes, and Evans & Sutherland domes.

We just finished the DI and 12 channel mix for a delightful kids animated film LEGEND OF THE ENCHANTED REEF for Reef Distribution and BIG&Digital. It will be released at the Museum of Discovery and Science IMAX® theater in December! With Giant Screen Cinema Association (GSCA) and Tina Ratterman.

Although 3D has not proven terribly popular with Hollywood films, 3D is going strong in the giant screen world, where it adds realism and immersion to the experience. As a result, we are experts in 3D post-production, and 3D conversion from 2D source. Here, our 3D Guru Noah Ramirez is working on a shot from Oceanic Research Group's film, Astronaut: Ocean to Orbit, which will be released in 3D in May, 2022.
