This Thursday, June 26th, is our monthly Funk Nite at The Sound Bar in Oklahoma City, 7-9 PM! Although Michael B will be in abstentia this month, we'll keep the spirit of the monthly excursion into funky vinyl by hearing a special all-vinyl episode from Season Two of Tonic, wherein Michael will tell an autobiographical story of the rise of his love of funk music, through records from his own collection. Bring a friend, grab a fresh cocktail from the bar, and sink into some comfy furniture and enjoy this unique vinyl listening experience, as only the SoundBar can provide. Located at 712 N. Funk Nite is back THIS THURSDAY, June 26, 7-9 PM at The Sound Bar in Oklahoma City! This month, in my absence, we’ll keep the vinyl spinning by revisiting a special all-vinyl episode from Season Two. Much in the way you usually hear me in person, I’ll be there in spirit, broadcast on loudspeakers and telling a personal story revealed through records from my own vinyl collection. Enjoy music on my vinyl recordings and storytelling, plus tasty drinks at the bar, lots of vinyl to shop, and an overall cool vibe for hanging with friends. Outside food is welcome, too!
