Well, so much for Snowmageddon! More like NOmageddon! Still, it’s a beautiful morning and that cup of hot coffee will help cut the chill. Sunday Sunrise #17 will, as always, will feature two hours of outstanding live and acoustic tracks. This week, stripped back songs from Chris Cornell, 3 Doors Down, and birthday boy Dave Matthews, who just turned 58 on Thursday. Sunrise classics from 10,000 Maniacs, David Gray, and the Beatles. And some really cool covers from I’m With Her, Arcade Fire, Joan Osborne and the Sunrise debut of Laurence O’Brien…a talented singer/songwriter from Sheffield, UK. That’s the same city that has given us many musical greats, including Joe Cocker, Paul Carrack, Joe Elliot and Phillip Oakey of Human League. Gotta love that part of our weekly deep-dive, as BOB-FM thrives on the variety of thousands of your favorite songs, but it’s nice to discover new artists, giving their unique spin on familiar covers. Welcome back…to Sunday Sunrise on 93.7 BOB-FM!
