All of us at Eagle Rock Studios express our immense gratitude for all of the support and work Steve Mensch has done for Georgia’s film industry, as well as our heartfelt condolences to the Mensch family and all who knew him for this devastating loss.

We had a great time with the DesFlo Youth Group of Gwinnett County last week with a tour of our studios and discussing ways to pursue exciting careers in the Film and Television Industry.

With only 3 days left of shooting back in March, these guys had to completely shut down and walk away...for 6 MONTHS!!! So happy they've made it back safely and can now wrap things up. It's gonna be a spectacular show.

Filming for "The Underground Railroad" has resumed after being postponed due to COVID-19. The novel turned series is currently being shot at Eagle Rock Studios Atlanta in Tucker.

The movie is scheduled to release on Amazon Video in 2021. We can't wait to watch it!

What: Legislative Resolutions to honor Georgians working in State’s Film/TV Industry and book to be released.

Produced by The Georgia Studio & Infrastructure Alliance (GSIA), which represents local investment in Georgia’s film and television production industry, the book includes dozens of stories about Georgians across the state who support the industry through jobs ranging from catering and transportation to location management and special effects.

includes 60 stories, with regional spotlights on Metro Atlanta, Barnesville, Covington, Rome, and Savannah. Georgians from across the state are featured in the book, which emphasizes the real-person impact the industry has on the state.

When: Monday, Feb. 24, at approximately 10 a.m. (start of session). Senate Resolution 755 will be presented, followed by House Resolution 1193.

Where: Senate and House Chambers, Georgia State Capitol, 206 Washington St SW, Atlanta, GA 30334.

Members of the Georgia Studio & Infrastructure Alliance will be available to media following the presentations of the Resolutions. Georgians featured in the book are also expected to be available.
