Wow. I’ve never seen this before! Must be a big update today.

Headed on over to Apple this morning to buy a new keyboard. . .

I brought the wireless keyboard for my 27" iMac home over the weekend to use with my laptop. This morning I forgot to bring it with me to the office. . .

And, the extra extended keyboard here at the office is gone. Imagine that?! Yet another item that was stolen from my office recently. Lots of “little stuff” was stolen recently. Grr. There goes another $150, or so.

In the meantime, I’m using a very loud, clicky-sounding wired keyboard. It’s amazing how using a different keyboard changes productivity. It feels so foreign; the keys are huge!

This, too, shall pass. I can’t waste energy on anger; it does nothing to help the situation. Just have to move one and know that Karma will do her thing — eventually.

It’s going to be a Terrific Tuesday regardless of the clicking. . .

When a good employee becomes a video game addict. . . . Besides showing up to work exhausted and in yesterday's clothes (at least 2 – 3 times a week), the lies being discovered are amounting to thousands of wasted dollars.

Today's cleanup involves an ecommerce site. So much for those rules to enable the purchase of add-ons. Opened up the site and it has one rule cloned and renamed 95 times. That must have been a months worth of work days spent playing video games on company time. Good grief.

The best form of punishment is Karma. Plain and simple. Sweet Karma. Do your thing. It may not be today nor tomorrow. But, eventually Karma catches up. Amen.

Winning is great. Unfortunately, we can’t all win all the time.

Losing with grace and dusting yourself off, getting back up with your head held high takes courage and tenacity.

I’d rather someone with that kind of grit on my team than someone who has never had to pick himself up and face the uncertainty of the days after a loss.

I have more confidence that the man who lost and got up will be strong enough to be back at it again. The jury is out for the man who has never felt the burn of losing and the silent pain of standing tall when his will and tenacity are the only things holding him up.

Thought for this beautiful Thursday afternoon. This isn’t your whole story. This is just a chapter in the story of your life.

This chapter is a little story about a circus. . .

Imagine this: An “amalgamation” that is more like a circus on Planet of the Apes. . . And the apes in charge of the bigtop haven’t performed this show before. Forget one of the acts! The entire show is new to them. They’re not performing just any circus show, they’re performing the largest sh1tshow, oops, circus, under a bigtop on their tiny planet.

They are restless to get this show going; worried that the humans might out-shine them as they rehearse in public. So, what do the apes do? They have their minion monkeys relegate the humans to the sidelines. Trample them for sport. And, plan the demise of the hardworking, dedicated humans.

Meanwhile, the humans — true professionals who take their circus acts very seriously (and meticulously care for many bigtops), helplessly watch and wait for the final act of the season. . . When the apes in charge and their minion monkeys finally feast on the humans as snacks and fodder.

Carnage will ensue. The beasts will be left with no one to perform their circus acts. What will they do? What beasts do best, fight among themselves and feast on their young. (What an amazing show of its own.) Anything to remain in control and increase the bigtop’s value.

Many humans will be ravaged. Many will flee for their lives, oops, livelihoods. And, the apes? The apes will think their audience was just under their own bigtop. They will forget that their planet is tiny; there aren’t that many circuses with their particular style of bigtops.

Alas, the final chapters of this circus are in draft form, not yet finalized. But the ending is quite obvious. Karma always wins in the end. Sweet Karma will perform her magic. Maybe not this year, maybe not next year, but certainly in years to come.

Many human beings will survive and will go on to do amazing things. When the book is long read and sits dusty on a shelf the surviving humans will look back and know this particular commercial circus sh1tshow was merely a bad chapter.

Just one bad chapter in the book of life. Not the whole story.

Epilogue: Several triple bigtops blew down from neglect because the apes and their minions had no idea where they were located nor who maintained them.

Karma. Sweet karma. Gotta love it.
