The Brandywine football team lost its Division 7 playoff game against Lawton 45-23 tonight.

Niles Service League Color Run
The Niles Service League hosted their annual Color Run this morning. Dozens of runners ran around Brandywine High School and got doused in a variety of colors.

Ice carver Danny Bloss worked on sculpture Tuesday afternoon at the corner of Main and Front streets. Bloss and a team of artists will create more than 100 sculptures in time for the Hunter Ice Festival.

Snow
The city of Buchanan shared this video of a tree that gave way under the weight of heavy snow fall in the 100 block of Ottawa. The western half of Buchanan is currently without power. City officials have cleared roads and are working to further repairs. The City Center on Oak Street, near Pears Mill, is open as a warming center. Electrical outlets are also available for people to charge their phones.

Following a tie vote for their city council seat, candidates drew papers to determine who would hold the position. Second Ward city council candidate Travis Timm drew the "elected" slip of a paper from a hat this morning. Incumbent Bob Durm drew the "not elected" slip of paper. Durm is calling for a recount.
