Support a local tow truck driver, who had a stroke September 22, 2023 and has been unable to work for 9 months due to unfortunate medical reasons that come along with the stroke. This money will go directly to him and his family to help them along this long road of recovery. Every swing counts! Mark D. Cooper, 56, of Lexington, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Hospital. Born January 15, 1968 in Lexington to the late Densil Cooper and his mother, Lucy Abner Cooper of Lexington. He was the owner and manager of Metro Towing in Lexington.
He is survived by his two daughters, Samantha Cooper of Lexington, Hannah Wilson of Lexington; his grandson, Blaze Wilson of Lexington; and his two sisters, Patty Adams and Terrie Cooper Shadaon.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Kerr Brothers โ Harrodsburg Road. Visitations will be from 5-8 pm Friday and 10:00-12:30 Saturday. Burial will be in the Rose Crest Cemetery.

๐ข ๐ฅ We weโre seriously beyond blessed this past weekend to see all your smiling faces, sharing laughs and good times in beautiful weather. Great entertainment, treats, raffles, music, derbies, tow trucks,vendors, contest/competitionโs .. it was a great family filled weekend. All of your kind words and encouragement this week has been abundant. We are so gracious to be apart of a great community, Brandon and myself (Kandice) worked our butts off and ran around in circles sometimes (literally ๐) but at the end of Saturday night, we looked around to see everyone hanging out, shaking hands, laughing, sharing a memory or two- just strictly out there enjoying themselves, it all was so worth it. Thatโs all we wanted was everyone to come together, have a good time at the Central Kentucky Tow Show and make a bang in the name of PaisLeigh Hurst ๐ฆ it turned out great and we owe it all the all of our participantโs AND again if you are following Central Kentucky Tow Show & Pai-Daze Memorial Derby keep a eye ๐ out for some exciting news coming to you over the next week!
